TiE Vadodara is a section 8 registered NGO and a part of the Global TiE group.
Under the charter of TiE, one of the major thrusts is Fostering the Entrepreneurship.
And a major potential pool of new entrepreneurship is found with Startups.
Startups have many new innovative ideas, enthusiasms, faster turnarounds and resilience.
However, most startup have little or no experience of running successful business operations and may need inputs from successful running businesses.
These inputs could range from development of prototypes, R & D facilities, manufacturing facilities, purchase and store infrastructure, sales and marketing, logistics, finance management, manpower and its management, administration capabilities.
On the other hand, established industries will have their own pain points in innovation in technical areas or pertaining to their product or service.
Startup may also provide these industries areas of diversification in similar areas, or even expand their portfolios or simply do meaningful CSR.
TiE Vadodara has come out with a unique initiative Match-a-thon which provides opportunities for both startups and established industries to come together for mutual needs and benefits.
To invite and identify Startups and understand their needs or gaps - exclusively related to Industry support. (Mentorship and Funding will be taken care by TiE Vadodara’s other initiatives)
To identify and invite Industries to share their problems or needs which could be potentially handled by some startups and also willing to share their resources required by the startups.
TiE Vadodara as a platform, will collect the database of such startups and industries, will evaluate and confirm the suitable matching of requirement and willingness of both sides.
